La Fageda Fundació

The farm, located in the Natural Reserve of La Fageda d'en Jordà, houses Mas Els Casals, a farm with more than 300 cows, a dairy production plant and a greenhouse for the production of various plants, tasks that They give jobs and assistance to 225 people, of which 126 are people with disabilities or chronic mental illness.

During the visits, the farm is shown, going through the stables of the dry, pre-parted cows, a few houses with newly-calved calves, the production farm, the milking parlor, the milk tanks and, later, the factory of Dairy from the outside. Throughout the entire course, all the essential elements of life and livestock feeding are explained, technical devices for livestock management, how quality control works and elements work, etc. At the end of the visit there is a pairing of yoghurts with jams from the same farm. The visit to the La Fageda farm is ideal both for the elderly, school groups, families and groups of friends.
