La Xiquella, formatges i turisme rural

They will guide you through the exploitation of dairy cows from where they get milk to produce cheeses. You can see cows, calves and milking parlor, as they explain the characteristics and processes of obtaining milk. At the workshop you will be shown how raw milk cheeses are made and discover the different stages of milk processing until cheese is obtained. You can smell, taste, buy and enjoy it.

You will taste the cheeses in different ripeness points and we will see the differences in texture, flavor, smell ... We will accompany the tasting with craft breads and other products of the area such as sauces, jams, nuts or seasonal fruits, all specially selected to accompany every type of cheese.
